Uploading Media

Upload images and videos to your media library. Supported formats:

  • Images: JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP, HEIC (iPhone photos are automatically converted)
  • Videos: MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, WebM (MOV files are automatically converted to high-quality MP4)

Maximum sizes: Images 15MB, GIFs 15MB, Videos 200MB.

Video Processing

Some videos, such as iPhone HEVC or 4K files, are converted after upload so every platform accepts them. This happens in the background and usually takes a minute or two. When lots of videos are uploaded at once they wait their turn rather than failing, and a scheduled post always waits for its video to finish converting before it goes out.

If a video can't be converted, it gets a red Will be refused badge in the media library and on any post that uses it. Click the badge to see what happened. Usually the fix is to export the video again from your editing app as an MP4 (H.264), or re-upload the original, and swap it into your posts. Temporary hiccups on our side are retried automatically, so you'll only see this when the file itself needs replacing.

Checking quality before you post. A minute or two after you upload, we check how each video will look once it's posted. If a video is under 1080p, or Instagram will get a converted copy, or a platform will refuse it, a box opens listing those files. For each one it says what will happen and what you're likely to notice, such as a slightly softer picture. Choose Accept & keep to use the files as they are, or Remove to delete one and upload a better version. If you upload several videos at once, you get one box for all of them.

The most common cause of a soft-looking video is uploading a smaller copy rather than the original. On iPhone, picking a video from the Photo Library in your browser can hand us a 720p copy. Upload from a computer, or tap Browse and pick the file from the Files app instead.

Compliance Auto-Check

Every upload is automatically checked for compliance in the background. You'll see a status on each media item:

  • Checking... — AI is analysing the content
  • Per-platform badges — Shows safe/caution/unsafe for each platform

Tags & Filters

Organise your media with tags. You can filter by tag to quickly find content, and track which tags perform best in the analytics dashboard.

Downloading Media

To save a file back to your device, open the ⋯ menu on any image or video in the library and choose Download. The file saves with its original name and format.

Large File Uploads

Large files are uploaded in chunks automatically. You'll see a progress bar during upload. If the connection drops, the upload will resume where it left off.
